Awesomefest is about all things Awesome. What is Awesome, you may ask? Tattoos are awesome. Riding bikes for long distances, I would argue, is pretty awesome. And movie marathons are also really great in my opinion. When you combine all three you get a triathlon of sorts. A triathlon of awesome.

Awesomefest is an all day event that consists of cycling, a movie marathon and tattooing. Each year the theme changes. This year's theme is Lord of the Rings. Come out and join us on August 4th in Columbus, Ohio. All proceeds from the silent auction and a portion of the registration fee supports the non-profit organization Asia's Hope.

One Fest to Rule Them All

Awesomefest Star Wars Messenger Bag

Seagull Bags has done it again. This bag has blown any of my expectations out of the water. If you had no other reason to come out to the event tomorrow, seeing this bag in person is reason enough. It will be up for auction, with all proceeds going to Asia’s Hope.

Schedule for Saturday

8-9: registration at Wild Goose Creative (2491 Summit st. 43202)*9-10: 13 mile ride10am-11pm: Star Wars 1-6 (tattoo appointments begin at noon at Evolved- 1906 N. High St 43201)11pm-12am: 10 mile night ride

*Coffee will be provided by Cafe Brioso. Riders will be given a map of local restaurants and food vendors for lunch and dinner. There will still be free beer, courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

QuestionI plan to get the word Hope as a tattoo during the event in Khmer. I have a mock up that should work. It will be somewhat small and placed across my wrist. Is it necessary to consult an artist before the event? Answer

Any custom tattoo that you want to get done during Awesomefest needs to be cleared with the artist in advance. You can call or visit Evolved at 1906 N. High St.

QuestionWhat's there to consider on the Bobofet tatty. It's awesome, do it. Instead of making it square you can extend the fractals out so it's more of an oganic shape around the edges. SICK! Answer
