Awesomefest is about all things Awesome. What is Awesome, you may ask? Tattoos are awesome. Riding bikes for long distances, I would argue, is pretty awesome. And movie marathons are also really great in my opinion. When you combine all three you get a triathlon of sorts. A triathlon of awesome.
Awesomefest is an all day event that consists of cycling, a movie marathon and tattooing. Each year the theme changes. This year's theme is Lord of the Rings. Come out and join us on August 4th in Columbus, Ohio. All proceeds from the silent auction and a portion of the registration fee supports the non-profit organization Asia's Hope.

Questionsorry i have a slew of questions. if a friend just wants to watch the movies, can he do that? How long does the whole event last? Like do I need to get someone to feed my dog? I found another website (your old wordpress blog?) that said there was a 10 mile bike ride in the am, then the movies (with tattoos during breaks??) and then another 10 mile bike rid. I am asking because if you start doing 20-30-50 mile bike rides then I think I will pass. And one more thing- this idea is really freaking awesome.
Answer
Registration is from 8-9, followed by the first film. There will be a 15 mile ride in the morning, followed by the second film and lunch. After lunch, tattoo appointments start and third and fourth film play. Then the dinner cart arrives and the fifth film starts. After that film the silent auction will close out and there will be a ten mile dusk ride, followed by the last film. The day should wrap up by 10 or so.
