Awesomefest Star Wars Messenger Bag
Seagull Bags has done it again. This bag has blown any of my expectations out of the water. If you had no other reason to come out to the event tomorrow, seeing this bag in person is reason enough. It will be up for auction, with all proceeds going to Asia’s Hope.
Awesomefest 2011 poster by Brandon Rike. Due to popular demand, this design is now available for purchase.
The first Awesomefest 2011 Star Wars poster is in. Thank you to Christen Nelson for her brilliant work on this. Several prints will be available to purchase at the event.
And just a reminder for those of you considering attending. We are not collecting money from you this year but you still must register. Instead we are charging you to go out and raise your own support for the sake of the orphans in Asia. Also note that shirts are not going to be for sale on the day of the event. You MUST purchase your shirt(s) in advance through the Skreened shop. However we will have a silent auction again this year, complete with items from Seagull Bags as well as leftover Dirty Harry shirts from last year.
Official Awesomefest 2011 Tee
This year, we are happy to be using Skreened to produce our tee-shirts. For those of you who aren’t familiar with them, they allow you to produce and purchase one-off shirts for an affordable price. This way, we can have multiple designs available in a variety of cuts and colors. So feel free to buy your shirt today as we will not be selling them the day of the event. And make sure to keep checking back to the shop for additional Awesomefest shirt designs.
Official Awesomefest 2011 Logo
Special thanks to Dylan Menges who came up with this badassssss design. Also, registration is now live. We are doing things a bit different this year so we can raise even more money for the kinds of Asia’s Hope. Awesomefest will not be collecting a dime from you this year. Instead, we are allowing the riders to raise sponsors to support them. Simply have your donors to http://www.asiashope.org/awesomefest and select their level of giving (ranging from $25-$250).
On the day of the event, we will supply drinks and the movies. There will be food vendors there for lunch and dinner so bring cash. Evolved will once again be doing the inking and there will be a range of tattoo designs for those with money or size restrictions.
Finally, the t-shirt design is currently in production by the amazing Colin Rigsby of Hard Labor design and will soon be unveiled. Once they are up on the website, you will have until June 30th to order them. A very limited few will be available on the day of the event.

Only one more week until Awesomefest! This is shaping up to be the best year yet. Make sure to pay your fees so we have a better idea how many people to expect.
I also have a special message from Amy of the Couchfire Collective:
The day of Awesomefest at the Gateway, the Couchfire Collective & ARTillery are holding an event called Yummy Summer Weekend with an art market, gallery shows, and performances to benefit the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. We would love for the Awesomefest participants to check out the vendors and the art shows. The more, the merrier!
See you in a week!

New Update: Seagull Bags Edition
The folks at Seagull Bags have done it again. And by “it” I mean made an effing insane custom messenger bag for our Asia’s Hope silent auction. You have to see it in person to full understand the awesomeness of it. I must say that I’m proud to be a Columbusian right now.
